Authorization
In this section, we will explore the authorization types for ISO requests in PruTAN. PruTAN supports two types of authorization: SSL and Non-SSL. If Request is not authorised with SSL then by default it is Non-SSL authorised.
SSL Authorization SSL authorization requires a certificate that contains credentials about the public key and the identity of the website owner, along with other information.
Steps to send secure request with SSL enabled
- Navigate to the API menu.
- Select the ISO format in the Request Component. You will see a new submenu option named Certificate.
- Click on the Certificate submenu and create a certificate by providing a label, Password & uploading a SSL certificate file.
- Select this certificate file.
- Now, in the Authorization tab of the ISO request, select "SSL" from the dropdown menu.
- With SSL authorization enabled, you will be authorized to execute your request securely.
Additional Considerations :
- Ensure that you have the necessary SSL certificate file or authentication tokens ready for authorization.
- Keep your SSL certificate and authentication tokens secure and avoid sharing them with unauthorized individuals.
- Regularly review and update your SSL certificate and authentication tokens as per the expiration and security guidelines.
