Authorization

In this section, we will explore the authorization types for ISO requests in PruTAN. PruTAN supports two types of authorization: SSL and Non-SSL. If Request is not authorised with SSL then by default it is Non-SSL authorised.

SSL Authorization SSL authorization requires a certificate that contains credentials about the public key and the identity of the website owner, along with other information.

Steps to send secure request with SSL enabled
  1. Navigate to the API menu.
  2. Select the ISO format in the Request Component. You will see a new submenu option named Certificate.
  3. Click on the Certificate submenu and create a certificate by providing a label, Password & uploading a SSL certificate file.
  4. Select this certificate file.
  5. Now, in the Authorization tab of the ISO request, select "SSL" from the dropdown menu.
  6. With SSL authorization enabled, you will be authorized to execute your request securely.
